Heathrow Group Transfers: Coach and Minibus Hire for Groups
Getting a group out of Heathrow and into central London can be stressful: long taxi queues, heavy luggage and passengers arriving tired. A pre-booked coach or minibus with a driver solves all of that. Here is how to plan a smooth group transfer.
Choose the right vehicle for passengers and luggage
Airport groups carry more luggage than day-trip groups, so plan for bags as well as seats.
Small groups (up to 8): an 8 seater MPV.
Medium groups (up to 16): a 16 seater minibus with space for up to 20 standard bags.
Larger groups: midi coaches of 29 to 33 seats, or full-size coaches up to 85 seats, with large luggage holds.
If your group has skis, golf bags, instruments or lots of large suitcases, let us know when you book so we can send a vehicle with enough space.
How meet and greet works
Your driver meets the group inside the arrivals hall at an agreed meeting point and helps with luggage to the vehicle. See our Heathrow meeting point guide for details of where to find your driver at each terminal.
What if the flight is delayed?
Give us the flight number when you book. We monitor arrival times so your driver is there when the group actually lands, not just when the flight was scheduled.
Tips for group organisers
Send us a passenger list and a lead contact's mobile number.
Tell us about any passengers with reduced mobility; wheelchair accessible vehicles are available.
Allow time for immigration and baggage reclaim when planning onward connections.
For return journeys, book pick-up times with check-in deadlines in mind.
Other London airports
We run the same service at Gatwick, Stansted, Luton and London City, as well as cruise ports and London's main railway stations.
